I am a born researcher and before I buy I do a lot of research. Before opting for a product, I spend months researching the different options on the market online and I read the reviews of each product or material.
Also, considering my multiple chemical sensitivities, I am very strict when it comes to choosing products. When I was looking for a shower filter I did a lot of reading and research.
